Replacement Parker Domnick Hunter K330ACS compressed air line filter

The Domnick Hunter K330ACS is an activated carbon filter element in the OIL-X Evolution series of compressed air filters from Domnick Hunter (now part of the Parker Hannifin Group).

The following are the core parameters and application information for this model:

Core Functions and Filtration Accuracy

Filtration Grade: ACS (Active Carbon Stage).

Main Function: Specifically designed to remove oil vapor, hydrocarbon odors, and trace aerosols from compressed air.

Filtration Accuracy: Filters solid particles as small as 0.01μm.

Residual Oil Content: At 21°C, the outlet oil content is typically below 0.003 mg/m³ (i.e., 0.003 ppmw), ensuring an oil-free air.

Technical Specifications and Installation Requirements

Flow Rate: The standard flow rate for the K330 series is approximately 19.8 m³/min (subject to adjustment based on operating pressure and temperature). Pre-filter Requirements: ACS-grade filter cartridges must be installed after AA-grade or AX-grade high-efficiency oil removal filter cartridges. This is because the activated carbon layer is easily clogged by liquid water and large amounts of oil. The pre-filter removes most liquid and solid particles, protecting the activated carbon layer and allowing it to process only gaseous contaminants.

Structural Features: The interior is filled with a fine activated carbon powder stabilizing layer, and the outer layer is a multi-layered fibrous media with an anti-corrosion coating to prevent fiber migration.
