The Hankison E9-16 is a Grade 9 universal separator/precision filter cartridge for compressed air systems. It belongs to the coarse or pre-filtration stage and is primarily responsible for capturing large particles, moisture, and high concentrations of oil mist, thus protecting downstream finer condenser filters and dryers. This cartridge is typically installed in the following Hankison compressed air filter housings: HF9-16-3-DPL or DGL; HF9-16-4-DPL or DGL.
