Replacement Air line filter Ultrafilter AK04/20

Ultrafilter AK04/20 is an activated carbon adsorption precision filter element of the German ULTRAFILTER AK series for compressed, compatible with 04/20 specification filter housings. It serves as the end-stage odor treatment component of the air source purification system, with a higher flow rate than the AK04/10 model in the same series. Core Performance Parameters Filtration and Adsorption Capacity: It adopts a composite consisting of a 0.01μm precision borosilicate fiber pre-filtration layer and a high iodine value columnar activated carbon filling layer. It can efficiently filter oil mist and microparticles from compressed air, while adsorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odor molecules, and residual oil vapors. After filtration, the residual oil content is as low as 0.003 PPM, and the removal efficiency of VOCs (such as benzene and formaldehyde) and odors exceeds 95 meeting the ISO8573-1 Class 0 air source standard requirements. Structural Design: Equipped with a 304 stainless steel skeleton and doublelayer O-ring seals to prevent airflow short-circuiting. The outer layer is fitted with a hydrophobic foam sleeve to prevent secondary carryover of coalesced liquids The initial differential pressure is ≤0.02 MPa with low airflow resistance. It has a pressure-bearing capacity of up to 8 kg and is resistant to hammer impact. Under normal operating conditions, its service life is approximately 4,000-6,000 hours (depending on specific conditions such as content and humidity of the air source). Once adsorption saturation is reached, the entire element must be replaced and cannot be regenerated. Applicable Operating Conditions: The rated flow rate is 2.0 Nm³/min, which is 1.33 times that of the AK04/10 (1.5 Nm), making it suitable for medium-to-large flow compressed air purification systems. The working pressure range is 0.8-1.6 MPa, and the temperature covers -10°C to 80°C. It is typically installed after precision filtration stages such as PE/FF/MF/SMF, serving the final deodorization stage of air source purification.
