Ultrafilter AK02/05 is an activated carbon adsorption filter element from the AK series of the German ULTRAFILTER brand, compatible with 02/05 specification filter housings. It is an end-of-line odor treatment component for air purification systems, primarily used to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and residual oil vapors from compressed air. Core Performance Parameters Filtration and Adsorption Capacity: It adopts a composite structure of high-quality granular activated carbon filling microfiber pre-filtration layer, which can efficiently adsorb hydrocarbons and odor molecules in compressed air. The residual oil mist content after filtration is as low as 0.003 PPM, and the adsorption efficiency for volatile organic compounds such as benzene and formaldehyde exceeds 95%. Structural Design: Equipped with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel skeleton, the entire filter element undergoes resin impregnation and curing treatment. Its physical strength is increased by 300% compared to ordinary filter elements. It can withstand a working pressure of 8 kg, resist water hammer impact, and has a service life of approximately 4000-6000 hours (depending on specific operating conditions such as oil content and humidity of the air source). Once adsorption saturation is reached, the entire element must be replaced and cannot be regenerated. Applicable Operating Conditions: The rated treatment flow rate is 0.16 Nm³/min, and the working temperature range is -10°C to 80°C. It is usually installed after precision filtration stages such as PE/FF/MF/SMF as the final deodorization stage of air purification.
