Ultrafilter AK03/05 is an activated carbon adsorption precision filter element of the German ULTRAFILTER AK series for compressed, compatible with 03/05 specification filter housings. It serves as the end-stage odor treatment component of the air source purification system, with a higher flow rate than the AK02/05 models in the same series.

Filtration and Adsorption Capacity: It adopts a composite structure of a microfiber pre-filtration layer with a 0.01μm filtration precision and a highly adsorptive columnar activated carbon filling layer. It can efficiently filter oil mist and microparticles in compressed air, while adsorbing volatile organic compounds, odor molecules, and residual oil vapors. After filtration, the residual oil mist content as low as 0.003PPM, and the removal efficiency for odors and oil vapors exceeds 95%.
Structural Design: Equipped with a-resistant stainless steel skeleton, the entire filter element undergoes resin impregnation and curing treatment, providing high physical strength. It can withstand a working pressure of 8 kg, water hammer impact, and features a hydrophobic foam sleeve on the outer layer to prevent secondary carryover of coalesced liquids. The conventional service life is approximately 400-6000 hours (depending on specific operating conditions such as oil content and humidity of the air source). Once adsorption saturation is reached, the entire must be replaced and cannot be regenerated.
Applicable Operating Conditions: The rated treatment flow rate is 0.4 Nm³/min, which is 2. times that of the AK02/05 (0.16 Nm³/min), making it suitable for medium-flow compressed air purification systems. The operating range is -10°C to 80°C. It is typically installed after precision filtration stages such as PE/FF/MF/SMF, as the final deodorization stage of air source purification
